You will learn all of Geary Whiting’s techniques of horse massage in both the home and on site programs. You will learn the reasons for each technique, and the best methods. In this video Geary is massaging a horse’s gums. When using this technique with confidence this massage will affect the horse’s limbic system thus reducing fear and stress.
(The limbic system which is compromised by various regions of the brain predominantly controls appropriate responses to stimuli with social, emotional, or motivational behavior, which includes innate behaviors such as aggression, and defense.)
